  1. I’m legitimately curious if this channel is focused on the negative during reviews not trying to knock you just was looking for more info on Glow Recipe came across this video and it was like all negative not who it’ll work for and or if there’s some good in there. And the fragrance was like every other sentence just some criticism. I did think you did a lot of research and you’re gorgeous and well spoken. Maybe it’s just a trash brand in your opinion I was just curious or is this channel more relative to makeup with skincare?

  2. I thought I was going crazy when I got the watermelon line and didn't really enjoy the smell. Your description is so accurate: it's like an artificial watermelon jolly rancher. But I love the product anyways bc it's feels so nice! Personally I don't mind fragrance (in fact I kind of like fragrance) but this just doesn't smell like the "fresh watermelon" they advertised about at all.

  3. I would choose a fragranced product over an non-fragraned product if everything else was even. I enjoy the three Glow Recipe products that I've been using. Dry skin but it's not overly sensitive.

  4. My opinion on Glow Recipe: some of their stuff is good, some of their stuff is meh, but it's all overpriced. If you care to spend the money, spend it. But for me, I can find cheaper alternatives at Ulta that work just as good, if not better, than the expensive Glow Recipe products.

  5. I love so many Glow Recipe products: avocado is for sure my fav, but the watermelon niacinamide just clogged up my pores and my skin didn’t like it at all the rest I love

  6. I just want to make a gentle comment and reminder that not everyone has her highly sensitive skin and super dry skin so simply because the products didnt work for her doesnt mean that they wont work for you. I personally love the glow recipe line and it has done wonders for my skin. Granted i have super oily skin with lots of acne scars and hyper pigmentation.

  7. I don’t understand the negative reviews. I’m 45 and have dry, flaky skin. I love their moisturizer & dew drops, & it makes my skin look plump, healthy & glowing. I didn’t have any issues with layering at all. I mix a small amount of dew drops with my foundation, & it looks beautiful. To each their own I guess. The smell is nice, & I found that once it’s applied to your skin, the smell dissipates almost completely. For every negative beauty review for these products, the majority of reviews I watched before buying were very positive. This product has been a lifesaver with my flaky skin this winter. Definitely recommend!!!!

  8. Glow Recipes fragrances are a hit or miss for most ppl. I like the concept. However, Fragrance products eventually break me out anyways with my sensitive skin and all. It’s okay if it’s trying to hide other smells but I really don’t want more dark marks or sensitivity.

  9. i tried the watermelon sleeping mask, watermelon sheet mask, and avocado melt mask. they all burned and irritated my skin 🙁
i have dry, sensitive, and acne prone skin. the watermelon products wasn’t moisturizing enough n it itched. the avocado melt made my whole face feel like i shoved it in an ant hill lol. i was bummed bc it was expensive n i actually like the smell lol
i just use pyunkang yul, cosrx, and missha
