  1. After my knee surgery replacement the doctor
    Wanted to give me oxy
    I don’t know what’s with
These doctors I’m unable to take it ! I asked for something else so he gave it to me !
I wish he had given me a topical
For the pain instead of pills

  2. Interesting-I did not know there were prescription topicals. One thing that I do when I apply the over-the-counter varieties is to put a latex glove on to apply it. Then your hand doesn't smell like the ointment.

  3. I have excellent success with topical arnica gel and arnica pills that dissolve under the tongue it works well for about two hours and many times just breaking up the pain cycle makes it so I don't constantly have to take stronger meds. I buy several tubes of Arnicare at a time because I use it so much. the mrs. widow of bigjacdaddy

  4. I can swallow my meds and vitamins in one or two gulps. That’s close to 20 in the evening, some large, most small.
3 surgeries in 3 years. May 17 will be my last knee replacement. One more internal surgery , no date or year for that. My other knee is great. My back was fused and doing well for 5 years, now it’s has spread down to tail bone. Covid is so much fun! Are we happy yet?

  5. Tbh I'm a young guy in his late 20s I was diagnosed with ra in early 2018 I dint like taking pills I'm a person that believes in mother nature being the real medicine but looking for a patch to help with the big muscle spasm .the er prescribe me to lidocaine patch and cyclo something for muscle relaxer .I would like to know is biofreeze patch better then lidocaine because I use biofreeze before but not on a muscle spasm on my trapezius that is limiting my motion

Why are you guys being so vague about the topical medications? Beyond listing the ingredients which a topical medication should have, you should name examples, e.g., diclofenac sodium, Voltaren, etc.

  7. can i heat my lower back with heating pad before using lidocaine ointment 5% ,,is that a good idea ,,,figure that my pores are open ,cream will set in better,ty ,,i like ur videos by the way

  8. Now that Voltoran is over the counter, how safe is it? I take Meloxicam for arthritis but my feet have a lot of arthritis in them besides other joints. Is it safe to use Voltoran and Meloxicam? I read the warnings and wonder. But it does seem to give my feet a little extra relief. I probably spelled it wrong but oh well. LOL>

  9. Hello Docs, I used OTC Voltaren for a bad ankle sprain, but it didn't do much so my Doctor prescribed Diclofenac 20% with 10% menthol which surely helped. But is there another thing that could add to its potency?

  10. Why do doctors' caps always seem to have wacky prints? Is it because it's the only article of clothing where they're able to express themselves? Or is it spot someone from a distance? Or to not take each other's caps? Or because it seems more cheerful to patients? Or what?
